Hi guys! Over the weekend I had the pleasure of meeting my favorite blogger and inspiration for starting a blog in the first place. Donna, decorator and designer from
Soul Pretty! We gathered in her
beautiful terrace apartment to enjoy chicken and waffles, and omg delicious fruity spiked drinks.

The purpose of the evening was Soul Pretty's first 'Sickle Cell Back to School Backpack Drive' Everyone brought a backpack, some school supplies and written words of encouragement for the backpack's new owners.
I also got to meet a few followers of my blog, and some ladies that enjoy thrifting just as much as I do, which is always awesome!
It was a great success, and it's so awesome to see the blogging community work this way. Looking forward to more blogger meet-ups and informative get-togethers!
